Angus Alcohol and Drug Partnership

The Angus Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) is a multi agency group with representatives from statutory and voluntary sector organisations. The group delivers key outcomes to address substance use in Angus, influences the planning and commissioning of substance use services, and ensures that the provision of these services meets local needs and priorities.

Angus ADP aims to:

Provide strategic leadership across Angus for all agencies working within the alcohol and drugs field and other agencies with an important role to play such as education, housing and leisure.
Provide guidance and direction to the ADP sub groups (Recovery and Joint Working, Operations, Workforce Development, Joint ADP / Community Planning, Finance and Commissioning).
Take decisions on how the ADP funding should be spent in Angus.
Ensure that service planning for alcohol and drugs is based on needs assessment information.
Decide on responses to Scottish Government requests relating to alcohol and drugs.
